National land and water transport authorities maintain a comprehensive deployment across the country to accompany seasonal workers during Holy Week 2026 and ensure a safe and orderly return.

During a special program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the Deputy Ministers of Land Transport and Water Transport, Claudio Farías and David Quintana, respectively, provided an overview of the operations active during this holiday season.

Quintana stressed that the return is already under way and that the national government is making a human and logistical effort to protect the lives of citizens, according to the Ministry of Transportation press.

He reported that this Good Friday the highest peak of aquatic mobility was recorded, with a similar, although lower, projection for this Holy Saturday.

For this operation, he specified that more than 426 officials are deployed in the aquatic districts, supported by nearly 100 vehicles including boats and ambulances, in addition to 146 control points in the main beach areas.

For his part, Deputy Minister Farías pointed out that the country's land terminals (especially those in the capital region with routes to the east and west) are strengthened to meet the high demand of users.

Farías indicated that the land transport system operates with 492 units active in real time, with affordable rates and a close and reliable service.

He also highlighted the support of the Caracas Metro in mobilizing parishioners during religious activities, with a progressive increase in the number of users.

With this coordinated deployment, the authorities reiterate their commitment to ensuring a safe and peaceful return for all the seasonal workers who enjoyed Holy Week 2026.
