Within the framework of the Comprehensive Road Care Plan 202 4, representatives of the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation, together with the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services, inspected the five active work fronts between the state of Barinas and Apure.

During the day, the authorities, headed by the head of the ministerial portfolio Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, supervised the work carried out by the Great Venezuela Transport Mission, on the José Cornelio Muñoz Bridge, located in the Llanera border area and which represents an important road artery for the town.

In this regard, the workforce carried out the construction of an embankment to divert the Apure River, the manufacture of a 1,340-meter channel to redirect the flow of the river, the reinforcement of the bridge structure, the creation of an alternate road that connects Barinas with Apure, and the placement of planks on the north side.

“Our goal is to guarantee communities indefinite connectivity between the states of Barinas and Apure, where private transport, as well as cargo transportation, can be moved safely,” said the leader of the transportation portfolio.
