The Bolivarian Government of Aragua carried out a day of planting more than 200 trees in different key points of the city of Maracay, as part of an afforestation plan that foresees the planting of more than two thousand plants in the coming months.

The mayor of the state capital, Rafael Morales, indicated that the intensification of the afforestation plan will also extend to the coastal parish of Choroní, in an effort to strengthen the defense of the environment, recover public spaces and promote ecosocialism with the consolidation of a greener municipality.

He explained that this time they planted specimens of Araguaney, and specified that the afforestation days will be activated every two or three months, as part of an effort that is being carried out on a national scale.
