Bolivarian Government advances with the recovery of hospitals in La Guaira

The rehabilitation works carried out by the
Bolivarian Government are progressing at the Dr. José María Vargas and Dr. Eudoro
González hospitals, in the state of La Guaira, as part of the Dr. José Gregorio
Hernández Plan, aimed at recovering the health infrastructure affected by the earthquakes.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, at
the Dr. José María Vargas Hospital, the Neonatal Therapy unit reached
100% execution and is fully operational.
In addition, the areas of Maternity, Internal Medicine and
Traumatology recorded 90% progress; the Laboratory and Blood Bank, 85%;
Pediatrics, 75%; and the repair of the 3.95% load elevator.
Meanwhile, at the Dr. Eudoro González Hospital, located
in Carayaca, work is being carried out for the comprehensive recovery of
operating rooms and the replacement and maintenance of plumbing installations.
The interventions, coordinated by the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services, seek to re-establish adequate spaces to guarantee health care for the Guairian population.
