Bolivarian Government announced 15 days of comprehensive health care in nine municipalities of Aragua

The National Government, through the National Public Health System (SPNS), carried out 15 comprehensive medical days from August 10 to 15 in nine municipalities in the state of Aragua.

According to a press release from the health portfolio, the above-mentioned deployment covered the jurisdictions of Zamora, Girardot, Sucre, Tovar, Mariño, Santos Michelena (Las Tejerías), José Ángel Lamas, Urdaneta and San Sebastián de los Reyes.

During the week of care, 1,249 specialized consultations were consolidated, 119 citizens were immunized and 1,759 units of drugs were dispatched.

In this regard, in the Barbacoas parish in the Urdaneta municipality, direct medical coverage was provided to 94 members of the local indigenous community (56 women and 38 men) with general medicine and pediatric consultations, 147 preventive actions, 188 health investigations, the application of vaccines and free delivery of drugs.
