More than three thousand tons of asphalt have been placed for the recovery of the road infrastructure of Local Highway 08, in the town of Barbacoas, south of Aragua, by the Revolutionary Government.

Recently, more than 160 tons of asphalt mixture were placed, distributed in five (5) trucks, a considerable effort to ensure the comprehensive rehabilitation of the road that is the gateway to the country's plain.

Efforts to optimize traffic have included leveling the surface and the subsequent application of hot asphalt mixture, as part of a work framed in Q2 of the Plan for the Homeland of the 7T, which focuses on the consolidation of human cities for good living.

The work - according to the local press - is the result of joint actions between the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation, the regional company Vías de Aragua and the mayor's office of the Urdaneta municipality.
