In the state of Barinas, the Bolivarian Government granted a total of 400 land titles to agricultural producers, thus strengthening legal security and peasant organization as part of the national strategy to diversify the economy and consolidate production from the Venezuelan countryside.
The award was made through the National Land Institute (INT), an instance that coordinates commissions at the national, state, municipal and communal levels to ensure transparency in the process.
This mechanism allows land workers to have legal support and tools to expand productive capacity.
The initiative is given for the purpose of the policies of the Bolivarian Government aimed at promoting an economic model based on national production. With the active participation of peasants, food sovereignty is reinforced and the work of those who sustain the rural economy is dignified.
During the day, the incorporation of older adults as entrepreneurs in agricultural activities was highlighted, which expands the capacities of communities and evidences the collective commitment to building an inclusive economic system.
