The Bolivarian Government began asphalting work on Bolívar Avenue in Santa María de Ipire, in the state of Guárico.

Patching will be carried out, as well as installation of a running folder, for which approximately 100 tons of hot asphalt will be used, as part of the 2025 Asphalt Plan.

José Vásquez, governor of the entity, inspected the beginning of the work, together with the mayor of the jurisdiction, José Ortega and representatives of the Secretariat of Works and Public Services.

“We are responding to a felt need of our people. With this pavement plan, not only are we going to improve roads, but we are also going to promote the economic and social development of Santa María de Ipire,” said Vásquez, according to a press release from the Government of Guárico.

In addition, the regional president also announced that this asphalting plan is part of a larger road rehabilitation project that is being carried out throughout the state.

“We are investing significant resources to improve our region's road infrastructure,” said the governor.

He also said they are working hard to ensure that Guariqueños have quality roads that allow them to travel safely.

This asphalting plan is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, as it will facilitate the transport of products and goods, as well as access to services. It is also estimated that this improvement in road infrastructure will boost tourism and investment in the municipality.
