Bolivarian Government cares for families affected by earthquakes in Cata

The Bolivarian government of Aragua, through the mayor's office of Ocumare de la Costa de Oro, served families affected by the double earthquake of last June 24 in the town of Cata.
The conference was held in conjunction with Costas de Aragua, Civil Protection and Disaster Management, Misión Nevado and staff from the municipality's Social Development Department.
15 cases of the population were treated with food delivery and visits by a multidisciplinary team that evaluates the damage after the earthquake. In addition, Misión Nevado personnel, with the participation of animal health professionals, cared for the pets and toured the territory to provide food to both family and community animals, especially those who are in street situations.
According to the press release, the actions were carried out following the guidelines of care guided by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez and with the support of Governor Johana Sánchez and Mayor Wilmer Leal.
The deployment covered the sectors of La Bahia, Asocata, Casitas Nuevas, and the National Highway via Cata-Cuyagua and will continue progressively until the entire Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast is visited.
