The sector vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, carried out an inspection this Saturday at the Guri reservoir to evaluate the progress of the electrical system improvement plan. The activity made it possible to monitor the development of new projects aimed at strengthening public services and ensuring the nation's energy stability.

Ramírez was accompanied by the Minister of Electric Energy Rolando Alcalá and the president of CORPOELEC José Luis Betancourt.

During the strategic inspection tour of the key areas of the plant, the authorities reviewed the schedule of the Improvement Plan that the National Executive is currently implementing in the country's electrical infrastructure.

The vice-president stressed that this oversight complies with the mandate of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez to protect essential services against any contingency.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Public Works, the deployment is part of the maintenance and optimization policies to ensure the operability of the national electricity system.
