Bolivarian Government carries out institutional approach to promote tourism in the north of Monagas

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniela Cabello, together with the governor of the state of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, led an inspection and promotion tour along the northern axis of the entity, as part of the national deployment for the “Viva Venezuela” Carnival.

This institutional approach was also attended by the first lady of the state, Sorenelly Zambrano de Luna, the mayor of the Caripe municipality, Dalila Rosilla and the single tourism authority Rosy Salazar.

During the tour, the authorities supervised several points of historical and recreational interest, the route began in the Guanaguana parish, Piar municipality, with a visit to the San Miguel Arcángel church. This temple, founded on May 8, 1729, is a national historic heritage.

Likewise, the delegation moved to the Caripe municipality, where it was received by the local carnival sovereign, Nicolle González, and spokespersons for the People's Power.

The Minister noted the rehabilitation of the Mirador de Caripe, carried out by the Government. This space is consolidated as a high-level attraction center for inbound tourism, and guarantees healthy leisure for residents and visitors.

In addition, as part of the promotion of the territorial brand, the authorities visited the Hacienda Gualberto “Café del Jardín de Oriente”, this production unit, managed by Miguel Silva and with 80 years of tradition, is considered a successful model of coordination between the primary sector and the service sector, raising the quality of the region's exportable supply.
