Bolivarian Government carries out road interconnection work for pedestrians on 19 de Abril Avenue in Táchira

The government of the state of Táchira, together with the Mayor's Office of the municipality of San Cristóbal, is making progress in refurbishing and interconnecting roads with a pedestrian approach on Avenida 19 de Abril.

“The works include the construction of sidewalks, sidewalks, transport stops, lighting and other peremptory areas to provide a decent and safe stretch for the people of San Cristobal,” said Daniel Navarro, the head of infrastructure of the San Cristóbal municipality.

He explained that the works being carried out are to improve road interconnection with a pedestrian approach through the construction of 1000 meters of sidewalk, which will connect sectors such as the Libertador neighborhood, Pirineos, Obrero and the stretch of 19 de Abril Avenue, as part of a comprehensive project being carried out by the mayor of the municipality of San Cristóbal, Silfredo Zambrano and the governor of the state Freddy Bernal.

He also stressed that they are also developing muralism in this sector, focused on all these Tachirense and Venezuelan artists who have left a lot through their music.

“We are including what is the lighting through these lanterns with colonial architecture and building stops for public transport, to give comfort to all passers-by,” he said.

He also highlighted that this urban beautification project has the installation of a system of six video surveillance cameras, in addition to a traditional musical thread anchored to the smart city that seeks to monitor and guarantee Public Safety.
