Bolivarian Government closes the 3rd Communal Sports Games 2025 in the state of Trujillo

In the state of Trujillo, the III Municipal Sports Games 2025 closed, with the presence of national and regional authorities.

The second place went to Caracas, while the bronze one went to Lara.

The Minister for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, presented the award to the Miranda state delegation, which won first place with 33 gold, 23 silver and 28 bronze medals.

For their part, the people of Caracas won 24 gold, 14 silver and bronze medals. While the Larenses added 19 in gold, 22 in silver and 25 in bronze.

The governor of the state of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, said that it was a real honor for the people of Trujillo to host the III Municipal Sports Games 2025. “I hope they get a beautiful picture of this region, of Tachira and of Mérida,” he said.

He also stressed that during the development of the activities of this competition, a great climate of joy, love and peace was evident.

Cardillo highlighted that 6,105 regional athletes participated in the Games and highlighted the integration of Grandparents' Circles in this competition.

It also recognized the work of the athletes and organizers, who managed to complete this national competition.
