Bolivarian Government condemns Israeli air strike against Syrian capital

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its strongest condemnation of the air attack carried out by the Zionist entity on the capital of Syria, this Thursday, November 14, which left at least 15 dead and 16 injured, including women and children, and impacted government structures and diplomatic missions, including the area where the official residence of the Venezuelan ambassador accredited in Damascus is located.

The statement was published on his social networks, by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, who points out that “this new terrorist act by Israel adds another event of the systematic violation of the sovereignty of countries and a threat against regional and world peace and security.

“Venezuela denounces, before the international community, the violation of International Law and Human Rights, by the Zionist State, against sovereign peoples and reiterates the call to all international actors to coordinate joint actions that can immediately stop these war aggressions,” he highlights.

“The Bolivarian Government abhors the practice of terrorism in all its manifestations, since this constitutes one of the most serious threats to peace and security on the planet. We express our solidarity with the brotherly People and Government of the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as condolences to the families of the victims and a speedy recovery to the injured,” the letter states.

This Thursday, November 14, the Israeli regime carried out an air strike on several residential buildings in the neighborhood of Mazzeh and in the town of Qudsaya, in the Damascus countryside.

In this context, the Syrian Defense Ministry, through a statement, indicated that there are several children among the victims of the Israeli offensive and the number of martyrs could increase in the coming hours.
