The Bolivarian Government handed over the rehabilitation of the Dr. Ramón Rojas Salazar Comprehensive Diagnostic Center , located in Santa Ana, Gómez municipality, Nueva Esparta.

According to information issued by the YVKE Mundial web portal , this center treats approximately 4,500 patients monthly, while noting that rehabilitation was achieved thanks to the support of the Ministry of Health, the Barrio Adentro Mission Foundation and the Gómez mayor's office.

The site has air conditioners, paint and other elements, which improve the quality of care provided. In addition, the power plant and the water pumping system were rehabilitated, all spaces were heated and the roof was waterproofed . In addition, walls, exterior and interior paintings were renovated, including the classroom where students from the University of Health Sciences study.

“We have a fully equipped comprehensive emergency care, hospitalization and intermediate care area. In addition, we have installed a state-of-the-art dental chair and an exclusive space for the care of Margarita's women, with gyneco-obstetric rooms equipped with ultrasound machines and other modern equipment,” said María Félix Rojas, spokeswoman for the Villa de Santa Ana commune.
