More than 3,000 insulin-dependent patients registered in the Endocrine-Metabolic Program in the state of Monagas received free of charge the treatment and equipment necessary to improve their health conditions thanks to the Bolivarian Government.
These are donations, directed by the Ministry of People's Power for Health, which are made every 15 days, at the Dr. Miguel Hernández Cardiovascular Center of the East, in the city of Maturín.
Bolivarian Government personnel delivered the oral treatment, the ampoules of NPH insulins ( slow-acting) and the crystallized ones (for quick action), in addition to the pen and needles for application or, failing that, the syringes, regional press reported. Namely, patients withdraw drugs to cover doses for at least 120 days.
