The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS), delivered submersible systems for the recovery of six deep wells distributed in five municipalities of the entity.
Governor Leonardo Intoci reported that the municipalities of Peña, Bruzual, José Antonio Páez, Nirgua and Bolívar will benefit from this initiative, aimed at optimizing the distribution of water by pipeline.
Intoci pointed out that this action responds to coordination between national, regional and local authorities, framed in the second line of transformation of the Homeland Plan, linked to the strengthening of public services.
During the inspection of the equipment, accompanied by the president of Aguas de Yaracuy, Juan Velásquez, the regional president recalled that this endowment was a commitment made during the campaign. He added that the wells will supply more than 3,400 homes, in compliance with the Concrete Agenda for Action and the Solution Map.
For his part, Velásquez stressed that the implementation of these underground fountains will allow more than 77 liters per second to be added to the water network that serves 112 communes in the state.
