From the Sucre parish in Caracas, the Bolivarian Government delivered toys to more than 1,500 boys and girls, so that they can enjoy Christmas in peace and joy.
The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, during the delivery of toys in the Sucre parish, stated that “the peace of all Venezuelans is strengthened by the union of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB); the Militia and the People's Power”.
“May nothing take away our happiness this Christmas and the end of the year. We work to ensure that these celebrations are lived as a family, with prosperity and harmony,” he said.
Meléndez stressed that the day is part of Christmas celebrations and that toys sent by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, were distributed in all the parishes of Caracas.
In addition, food delivery and the traditional hallaquero combo were deployed, an operation that has been active for four weeks.
Earlier, in the Caracas-La Guaira Corridor, Mayor Meléndez, and other national authorities also delivered toys, to bring joy to the hearts of communities.
Between laughter and games, boys and girls enjoy an unforgettable day, in which gifts and recreation are the protagonists.
The authorities share with families and reaffirm that the well-being of the little ones is the absolute priority at this time of union and prosperity.
