Bolivarian Government deployed geographical system to optimize rescues in La Guaira

The Venezuelan Government deployed a modern Geographic Information System (GIS) at the Army Command Post in Caraballeda, La Guaira state, to georeference in real time 100% of the rescue brigades, heavy machinery and shelters activated after the earthquakes of June 24.

This technological contingency tool optimizes the location of survivors and guarantees the immediate distribution of food and medicine along the critical axis that connects Caraballeda to Naiguatá and Los Caracas.

The Director General of Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), Antonio Rojas, said: “It's not just about data, it's lives. With this platform, we map each resource precisely so that assistance is fast and effective. We are doing science for life.”

The operational deployment, according to a press release from the Science portfolio, includes scientists, technicians and military personnel, who work side by side in a demonstration of civic-military union under the direct leadership of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.

Every technological team delivered to this command post becomes a tool of hope and immediate action for affected families.
