Bolivarian Government develops day for older adults in Yaracuy

Through the National Institute of Social Services (INASS) and the mission In Love Mayor, the first day of 2025 was carried out in Yaracuy of the plan “More years, more health”, at the Carlos José Mujica school in the Peguaima sector, in Chivacoa, in the municipality of Bruzual. In total, they were treated, where more than 400 older adults in the town were treated.

Officials from INASS, the National Institute of Nutrition (INN), the Yaracuy State Health Corporation (Prosalud), the Bruzual mayor's office with its mobile clinic and medical staff, and the Bolívar Chávez Battle Units (UBCh) in the area participated in the operation, a regional press release reported.

The state director of INASS and representative of the In Love Mayor mission in Yaracuy, Madelein Oviedo, reported that the day is part of the first apex of the mission, which refers to health care and nutrition for the elderly.

The official explained that every Saturday there will be a day of the plan, which will be organized with the government, mayors, communes, grandparent circles and other basic units of popular power.
