Bolivarian Government establishes strategies to promote and strengthen Motor Tourism

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, held a meeting with the regional managers of the National Tourism Institute (Inatur), presidents of Tourism Corporations and Tourism Secretariats, to advance strategies aimed at promoting and strengthening Motor Tourism throughout the national territory.

This plan of the Bolivarian Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, seeks to diversify the country's economy by boosting this sector. The objective is to strengthen local tourism development and promote the country as a tourist destination for Venezuelans and foreigners.

The axes of Motor Tourism are tourism infrastructure, quality services, tourism training and awareness, tourism promotion and safety.

Venezuela has a lot of tourist potential, with beaches, mountains, jungles and cultural heritage standing out. Among the most important National Parks are Canaima National Park, Waraira Repano National Park, Los Roques National Park and Mochima National Park, in the state of Sucre, among others.
