Bolivarian Government executes special plan for the recovery of religious temples in Miranda

In the Acevedo municipality of Miranda state, a special plan for the recovery of religious temples is being implemented with the prompt intervention of the mother church of Caucagua.

Mayor José Miguel Oliveros reported that the temples favored with resources earmarked for minor repairs are located in the parishes of Aragüita, Arévalo González, Capaya, El Café, Marizapa, Panaquire and José Félix Ribas.

“We will continue to support the churches in our communities, accompanying their work and contributing to preserving these spaces of faith and encounter for our people,” he said.

Oliveros explained that, after the damage caused by the earthquakes of last June 24, a profound intervention was planned that contemplates the total replacement of the roof, a structure that had not been replaced in the last thirty years.

He also indicated that the necessary materials, such as asphalt and primary sheets, have already been on site for more than a week, and installation work will formally begin next Monday, once weather conditions permit.

For their part, pastoral representatives and priests of the municipality, such as priest Víctor Mijares de Capaya, expressed their gratitude to the municipal and regional government for the unprecedented support provided to the preservation of religious heritage and the well-being of parish communities
