Bolivarian Government fully rehabilitates Maturín roads in Monagas

The Bolivarian Government is moving forward on Cruz Peraza Avenue in Maturín, Monagas state, the transformation of 4.5 kilometers of road through works to serve this Eastern population.

This in-depth intervention is implemented as part of the “Solve Your Street” Plan to provide timely answers to communities' road demands and optimize mobility on the country's main roads.

To date, 3,624 tons of highly durable asphalt mixture have been placed and scarification work has been carried out on 71,746 square meters of road surface to ensure a firm and homogeneous base.

Beyond the rolling surface, the project contemplates comprehensive weeding and sanitation in both directions, road demarcation and signage, as well as the correction and optimization of drainage and sewerage systems, key elements to mitigate the impact of rains and ensure the long-term durability of the new pavement.

These works are carried out in a coordinated manner between the Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works and Services and the Ministry of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, in order to optimize the country's different road arteries.
