The Bolivarian Government, through the Niño Simon Foundation and the Domingo Luciani Hospital in Caracas, provided medical assistance to nine boys and girls aged between 6 and 10 years old, from San José de Guaribe, Guárico state, who were transferred to the capital city for their respective surgical procedures.
The infants were treated at the public health center in Caracas during a special medical day to correct umbilical and inguinal hernias and hydroceles.
It should be noted that the medical care day is part of the care policy carried out by the national Government, led by President Nicolás Maduro, a line implemented by the governor of the state of Guarico, José Vásquez for children and the most vulnerable population.
For his part, the mayor of Guaribe, Julio Yánez, expressed his gratitude to all those who made this dream possible, stressing that these actions are a sign of the benefits of the Bolivarian Government. “Infinite blessings to the entire team of the Niño Simón Foundation and the Government of Guaribe, to the medical team, parents, representatives and all those who have been involved in ensuring the greatest possible amount of happiness for our homeland.”
He also highlighted the initiative of the first combatant and president of the Simón Municipal Children's Foundation, Magnulys Sánchez and the president of the Regional Foundation, Fabiola de Córdova “to sow the seed of a brighter tomorrow for the entire community of San José de Guaribe. A round of applause to these health heroes who make the impossible possible!”
