The Bolivarian Government reported that twelve days after the earthquakes that hit the state of La Guaira, the supply of food for the affected population is guaranteed.
The authorities estimate a strategic reserve for two months and a logistics operation that, according to the authorities, has allowed the distribution of more than 9,500 tons of food and nearly 650,000 liters of drinking water since the beginning of the emergency.
The announcement was made during an inspection of one of the entity's main collection centers, where the Minister of Popular Power for Food, Carlos Leal Tellerías, assured that the distribution system was activated less than 24 hours after the earthquakes on instructions from the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
