Bolivarian Government handed over sports court at the La Gran Victoria complex in Maturín

The infrastructure will allow the massification of sports, recreational use and the strengthening of different disciplines

This Monday, the Bolivarian Government of Monagas state delivered in record time and completely renovated the Argenis Guevara Multipurpose Court, located in the La Gran Victoria Housing Complex, in the Alto de Los Godos parish, which will benefit more than 9,000 people in this sector of the Maturín municipality.

The governor of the entity, Ernesto Luna, accompanied by the entire community, officially delivered the infrastructure that will allow the expansion of sports, recreational use and the strengthening of different disciplines, according to a press release from the government.

“We renovated and modernized this court one hundred percent, for the enjoyment of our youth and keeping them away from leisure, an active court trains good men and women, and in particular, it bears the name of a great friend and human being like Argenis Guevara, a social fighter in this community,” Luna said during the award ceremony.

He reported that, by next Monday, March 31, the recovery work of the San Juan María Vianney church will begin, as part of the commitments made in this community, and, in addition, the preschool and the square in the area will be refurbished.

With regard to water, Luna explained that the corresponding survey is being carried out to improve the drinking water distribution system in the blocks, so in the coming days they will be receiving a 30 hp water pump.
