Bolivarian Government implants pacemakers for heart patients in Portuguesa

So far this year, the Bolivarian Government has placed 20 pacemakers to patients in the Portuguese state. The operations have been performed during free surgical days that take place at the Miguel Oráa hospital in Guanare.
The first six implants were performed on Sunday, January 11, another 08 were completed on Wednesday the 21st and 06 were performed this Wednesday, the 28th, achieving three consecutive weeks of cardiovascular surgery.
“The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, said more ophthalmic surgeries and more pacemaker implants, and once in Portuguesa, six new patients were treated with pacemaker implants,” said the first in the state, María Gabriela Gil de Cedeño, quoted in a regional press release.
He reported that on the third and most recent day, patients from the municipalities of Agua Blanca, Acarigua (Páez), Araure and Guanare were implanted.
