Bolivarian Government inaugurated recreational areas in Los Caracas temporary camp

The chief of staff for the creation of temporary camps and housing, Jorge Rodríguez, supervised this Saturday the completion of new recreational spaces in the temporary camp of Los Caracas, in the state of La Guaira, intended for the care of children and adolescents affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

Accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Luis Villegas, Rodríguez recalled that two weeks ago these spaces were under construction and highlighted the speed with which they were completed.

“We had the idea of creating special areas for the use of children and adolescents by age. Two weeks ago they were under construction and today we already have areas for the little ones, with video games, inflatable mattresses and recreational devices ready to serve them,” he said through his Telegram channel.

He indicated that these facilities are part of the actions deployed to serve families who remain in temporary camps in the state of La Guaira. In addition, he explained that these spaces have been conceived as “danger-free zones” to guarantee the well-being and recreation of children and adolescents while they remain in temporary camps.

“Now every age has its own area ready to enjoy,” he said, stressing that these initiatives seek to provide safe environments for the development and leisure of the youngest.
