Bolivarian Government inaugurated Women's Care Unit in Naguanagua

The Bolivarian Government inaugurated the Women's Care Unit of the Dr. Saúl Ortiz High Technology Center, located in the Naguanagua municipality of the state of Carabobo.

The delivery was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Dheliz Álvarez, who visited the place in the company of the mayor of Naguanagua, Ana González and stressed that the medical center will serve more than 46,000 women in the municipality and its surroundings.

He also explained that the center has high-tech medical equipment, such as mammograph, ultrasound, densitometer, multiple ultrasound and resonator, “which will allow tests for cytology, biopsy analysis, cervical exams, and others to be carried out here (...) Thus guaranteeing easy access to health for the female population in the region,” she said.

The unit will provide medical consultations, gynecological procedures, family planning and advanced technological support, with the purpose of preventing, diagnosing and implementing appropriate treatments for each pathology.

The works carried out include the remodeling of the areas for consultations, the restoration of the façade, the installation of all lighting, waterproofing, painting in external and internal areas, replacement of toilets, replacement and repair of doors and installation of air conditioners.
