Bolivarian Government inaugurates the 21st FILVEN La Guaira Chapter with more than 30 exhibitors

The 21st edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) opened on November 19 in the state of La Guaira.
Until November 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., residents and visitors will have the opportunity to attend for the meeting with the letters and the exchange of knowledge.
In this fair, organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), through the National Book Center (CENAL), in which 31 exhibitors participate, including the Bookstores of the South with news from The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library.
In addition, titles from the publishing fund of the Government of La Guaira are exhibited, and an extensive program of literary activities is being developed for all ages.
During the opening ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Development for the Cultural Economy and president of CENAL, Raúl Cazal, highlighted the importance of culture as a fundamental pillar for the development of humanity and celebrated the inauguration of FILVEN La Guaira as a space for the promotion of literature and critical thinking where the people's joy in reading is evident.
For his part, the entity's Secretary General of Government, Alan Daniel Mata, highlighted the importance of instilling a love for reading, especially in children and young people, especially in an era where “digital media every day appropriate the minds of citizens”.
