Bolivarian Government is moving forward with work to expand the drinking water system in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government, through the
Ministry of Popular Water Power, is moving forward with work to
expand the drinking water system in the Los Peña sector, San
Juan parish, Sucre municipality in the state of Mérida.
The works include the installation of 500
meters of 90-millimeter pipe for the local aqueduct, which will
significantly optimize the distribution of the service to more than 400 families in the
community and is part of a project prioritized by the town in the first National Popular Consultation
of 2025.
The spokesman for the Los Peña Community Council, Kenyer
Marín, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the execution of this work, which
serves all families in the sector, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Water Power.
For her part, the resident of the sector, Cefora Vivas, expressed her joy at the improvements in drinking water. “I am very happy with the project that is being carried out, and I thank for everything the support of President Nicolás Maduro, who is a man of the people who cares about the well-being of all.”
The last National Popular Consultation of 2025 will take place on November 23, with the nomination of more than 30 thousand projects.
