The state of Táchira will host the XVII Venezuelan International Tourism Fair (FITVEN) 2024, from November 28 to December 1, in the so-called “city of cordiality”, San Cristóbal.
During the fair, professionals from the tourism market will meet, as reported by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, who also indicated that this initiative is designed to establish marketing alliances and exchange of experiences, which contribute to the increase of inbound tourism.
He also highlighted the attendance of representatives of the Alba-TCP countries, who confirmed their participation in this event, which once again brings them together to continue with the development of a multi-destination product, Mintur press reports.
“This fair is a sign of the commitment of the National Government to promote tourism as an engine of economic and social development,” said the minister.
He also announced that the International Tourism Congress will be held, which addresses the various aspects inherent to the area, from planning to the study of sustainability projects.
Likewise, the Business Roundtable, B2B and B2C meetings will be held, with the purpose of positioning Venezuela's destinations in the world. In this regard, Gómez assured that he is committed to the success of this event, created to generate synergy and processes that add to the sector.
