Bolivarian Government launches Community Active Zone in Caracas

In order to continue promoting sports mass expansion, the first Active Community Zone of the year was held, with dance therapy on the court of block 31 of the parish of January 23 of the Capital District parish.

The activity was attended by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez, and the Deputy Minister of Massification, Juan Carlos Amarante, as well as representatives of different entities of the national sport.

This is the first communal recreational dynamic of the year 2025 to be implemented in Caracas.

In this activity, 14 community councils of the Point and Circle participated and it will be territorialized throughout the country, according to the press release of the Ministry of Sports.

Minister Sánchez emphasized that the Active Zone must reach the entire country, to all neighborhoods. “We started with Caracas as a pilot, but we are going to deploy throughout the national territory so that all our people can do physical activity for their health,” he said.
