The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Raúl Cazal, reported that his portfolio maintains a permanent deployment of cultural, recreational and sports activities that include cinema, circus and programs to promote reading in the temporary camps located in Guarenas, Miranda state.

Cazal highlighted that the deployment is carried out following the instructions of the president (E), Delcy Rodríguez, who ordered a comprehensive care agenda to prioritize the emotional well-being of the population under the approach of “healthy body, healthy mind”, after the earthquakes of June 24.

He also highlighted the joint work between the Guarenas Mayor's Office and the Government of Miranda State for the optimal organization of these spaces.

Currently, the CEIN Ambrosio Plaza camp shelters families who are guaranteed food, housing and comprehensive medical care.

In this regard, Governor Elio Serrano emphasized that this protection will provide comprehensive protection to families until they finally have their new homes.

He also reported that in the Oropeza Castillo sector, infrastructure is being evaluated to proceed, in agreement with the neighbors, with the controlled demolition of buildings that present imminent risk.
