Bolivarian Government of Aragua announces photo shoot in the historic center of Maracay on August 29

Under the name of Aragua en Foco, the secretary of culture of the governor of that entity, announced a photographic shot in the historic center of Maracay, which will take place on August 29.
This is a series of conferences that will be held with the purpose of projecting the lens as a living testimony and instrument of social transformation throughout the regional geography .
“It's an articulated institutional effort to enhance the historical memory and visual heritage of the state of Aragua,” said the entity's Secretary of Culture, Nicolás González.
The initiative, framed in the celebration of the Month of Photography and heading towards World Photography Day, seeks to project the value of the lens as a living testimony and instrument of social transformation throughout the region, details the press release.
In this regard, it is detailed that the project will deploy a varied agenda of training, debate and registration in the Aragüeño territory. The starting point will be the square of the Girardot mayor's office and along its route, nine strategic heritage sites will be unveiled to be captured through the lens of more than 40 national photographers.
