Bolivarian Government of Aragua takes preventive action against forest fires

The Bolivarian Government launched actions for the prevention of forest fires in the state of Aragua.

In this regard, the entity's Single Authority for Ecosocialism, Anthony De Benedictis, indicated that there are more than 64 kilometers of firewalls in the region, both mechanized and manual.

“Along with the recently inaugurated helipads: one on the Maracay-Choroní highway with water system and the other at kilometer 6 of the El Limón-Ocumare de la Costa national highway, and these firewalls, we have managed to reduce contingencies in this dry season,” he said.

De Benedictis called for awareness to preserve natural resources and to have a sense of belonging to the nation's plant lung, so they can generate complaints through 911 in the event of an unforeseen event.
