Bolivarian Government of La Guaira deployed 29 days of comprehensive care and Sovereign Field

The Government of the state of La Guaira deployed 29 days of comprehensive care and Sovereign Countryside, benefiting 8,638 families in eight parishes, 14 communes and 61 communities.

From La Capilla, Catia la Mar parish, where more than 366 families had access to food, medical care, legal advice, services for pregnant women and recreational activities for boys and girls; the governor, Alejandro Terán, specified that “this day becomes a space for families to meet (...) to be able to not them only to do their business, but to treat themselves medically, to seek free legal advice and care for women”.

According to information issued by the government, four tons of food were distributed in Catia la Mar alone.

The care also included prenatal checks, delivery of vitamins, medications and baskets, as well as spaces for the promotion of local entrepreneurs and the activation of the Route of Hope, promoted by the El Niño Simon Foundation with cultural, educational and recreational activities for children.

Terán added that these deployments will take place every week thanks to the joint work between all levels of government as a sign of the Bolivarian Government's social and loving protection for the Guairian people in the face of contingency.
