Bolivarian Government of Miranda rehabilitates La Hacienda Residences in Guatire to benefit 68 families

The governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, visited the municipality of Zamora this Thursday to begin, through the Venezuela Renace Plan, the comprehensive rehabilitation of the La Hacienda Residences, in Guatire, a project that will benefit 68 families in the area.

The intervention of the housing complex responds to the severe damage suffered by the earthquake of last June 24.

The work, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), is concentrated on two nine-level towers, focusing the initial tasks on floors 1, 2 and 3, where the greatest damage to masonry was recorded.

Although the building was initially classified as a “red label”, subsequent scientific evaluations confirmed that the property is technically recoverable for a safe return.

As the first phase of the project, the crews began the controlled demolition of fractured walls and compromised elements for subsequent reconstruction and reinforcement.

In parallel, the Miranda Services Corporation and the Human Cities team will hold neighborhood meetings to inform co-owners about the work schedule.

This action is part of a larger project in Zamora, where 122 buildings with a yellow label and 10 with a red label were counted, of which six are already under direct intervention.
