The mayor's office of the San Cristóbal municipality in Táchira, activated a day of cleaning and collecting solid waste, in order to guarantee order in public spaces after the Christmas Eve celebrations.

To carry out the work, the mayor's office deployed 14 compactor vehicles, 10 dump trucks and more than 100 men and women distributed in the main avenues, markets and residential areas with the highest affluence in the capital of Tachirense.

Mayor Silfredo Zambrano reported that this comprehensive planning reinforces the usual collection tasks, taking into account the increase in waste typical of the holiday season. “This operation reflects the commitment of municipal management to collective well-being and the efforts of the staff who work with a vocation on this date,” he said.
