Bolivarian Government of Zulia organizes tree planting day in Maracaibo

As part of the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Chuquisaca Decree, issued by El Libertador
Simón Bolívar in 1825, a significant day of tree planting took place in Plaza Bolívar
in Maracaibo, capital of the state of Zulia.

From its user on the social network Instagram, the Institute for the Control and Conservation of Lake Maracaibo (CICLAM) pointed out that this is an expression of the commitment of the Venezuelan people to the protection of Mother Earth and the construction of the ecosocialist homeland.

The publication details that the activity was carried out under the guidance of the head of the ministry of popular power for ecosocialism in line with the guidelines of the Sixth Transformation and the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission.

The day was led by Edgar Jiménez Hernández, director of the ecosocialist territorial unit of Zulia and president of the ICLAM, accompanied by representatives of the government of the state of Zulia, the Tree Mission, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), the Public Ministry (MP), communes and communal circuits, as well as organized popular power
