The 'Los Tamarindos' Commune in the municipality of San Fernando, Apure state, successfully completed a project to optimize drinking water and sanitation.

The work was carried out in a joint effort between the Together Everything Is Possible Corporation and the Ministry of Popular Water Power (MINAGUAS), directly improving the quality of life of more than 3,000 families.

Marcos Pantoja, a MINAGUAS worker, explained that the intervention contemplated the strategic expansion of the drinking water network through the installation of 200 linear meters of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, which guarantees a supply with greater flow and pressure for the Tamarindo 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, Tamarindo 2, Tamarindo 3, Raúl Leoni, Barrio Obrero and Radiofónica sectors.

“The work included the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Commune's wastewater pumping station. This technical phase consisted of the construction of a new discharge line with 330 meters of 4-inch diameter HDPE pipe, the creation of grid bodies and deep general maintenance of the sanitation system, ensuring long-term operation,” said Pantoja.

For his part, the territorial chief, José Gregorio Sánchez, expressed his gratitude to the State, to the Corporation Together Everything Is Possible and to MINAGUAS for the constant technical support that allowed this historic demand of the sector to materialize.

“This work not only represents an improvement of infrastructure, but also the consolidation of the full exercise of popular sovereignty, under the guidance of President Nicolás Maduro. With each pipe installed and each station recovered, it is demonstrated that, in the face of adversity, the Bolivarian Revolution responds with efficient management,” said Sánchez.
