Bolivarian Government places more than 200 tons of asphalt on the Cata-Cuyagua National Highway

Within the framework of the policies promoted by the Bolivarian Government for road consolidation and repairs following the recent double earthquake, a deployment of scarification and installation of 225 tons of asphalt was carried out on the national road that connects the towns of Cata and Cuyagua in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro in Aragua.

According to a press release from the mayor's office, the road works include comprehensive improvements from the main entrance to the town of Cata, ensuring safe and smooth traffic for residents and visitors who come to this emblematic tourist destination in the state of Aragua.

This work is possible thanks to the perfect coordination between municipal management and road institutions, including Costas de Aragua.

In this regard, Mayor Wilmer Leal extended thanks to the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez and to the governor Joana Sánchez, reaffirming the commitment to work in line with the guidelines of the Bolivarian Government.

“We continue to respond efficiently to the needs of our people. Thanks to teamwork with the Bolivarian Government and our institutions, we are making progress in recovering access roads to our tourist areas, providing well-being and improving mobility for the entire town of Ocumare de la Costa,” he said.

In addition to the pavement this Wednesday, July 29, the crews of the mayor's office and State institutions were deployed with complementary cleaning, weeding and sanitation tasks for the optimization of this important road artery.
