Bolivarian Government promotes cooperation agenda for scientific and productive development in Sucre

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, held a working meeting with the governor of the state of Sucre, Jhoanna Carrillo, with the purpose of reviewing the strategic cooperation agenda in the eastern region and evaluating various actions aimed at strengthening the Great Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán in the entity.

In this regard, Jiménez stressed that the working table addressed plans that are already being implemented to consolidate scientific knowledge in the territory; in addition to strengthening key strategic sectors that directly contribute to the productive and social development of Sucre.

He emphasized that the idea is to take advantage of available technical capacities to boost the local economy.

Jiménez stated that these tasks are carried out under the guidance of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, as part of the commitment of the National Executive to work in an articulated manner with regional governments.

The central objective of this union is to strengthen the innovation ecosystem to enhance the country's strategic areas.

This joint effort between this Ministry and the Government of Sucre reaffirms the importance of applied science at the service of national production.

The cooperation agenda will continue to be deployed in the state to ensure that technological advances have a positive impact on the quality of life of the region's inhabitants.
