The Bolivarian Government, headed by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, handed over 67 homes in the San Pedro parish of Caracas, after being rehabilitated from damage caused by the double earthquake of last June 24.

During a presidential pass, it became known that “five buildings out of 14 that we are intervening in this commune” were rehabilitated inside and out in the town.

“When we started to review all these buildings, we found faces of despair (...) and when you (Delcy Rodríguez) made the announcement, hope revived and what we are talking about here is the rebirth of Venezuela, the rebirth of hope,” said the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum, Fernández, who was leading the activity.

For her part, the Head of State in charge said: “I send you a hug, go back to your homes today, open your door and go back to sleep in your bed.”
