The Bolivarian Government of Yaracuy State, headed by Leonardo Intoci, handed over the rehabilitation of the internal medicine area of the Dr. Plácido Daniel Rodríguez Rivero Central Hospital in San Felipe.
According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the intervened spaces, located on the third floor of the state's main healthcare center, underwent comprehensive rehabilitation and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
In this regard, it became known that after rehabilitation, the unit has the capacity to hospitalize more than 60 patients; “the work carried out represented a complete recovery of the infrastructure, addressing critical aspects for hospital operation. The project included the installation of a new general air conditioning system and the installation of ceilings in all areas.”
He added that the modernization included comprehensive recovery of doors, windows and bathrooms, in addition to the restructuring of key areas of the specialty: modernized hospitalization spaces, acute care units for critical patients, specialized isolation areas for patients with infectious diseases, gastroenterology and nutrition units and treatment rooms.
