Bolivarian Government reactivated water wells for 3,500 families in Zulia

The Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care (MINAGUAS) activated a technical operation in the municipalities of Colón and Catatumbo, Zulia state, to rehabilitate the water infrastructure in the south of Lake Maracaibo and optimize the distribution of drinking water for the benefit of 3,500 families in the entity.

Crews from the ministry intervened on the Insolac well, located in the parish of Santa Bárbara in the municipality of Colón, with the objective of improving the restoration of pumping systems and ensuring continuous supply to two thousand homes. In the same way, the maintenance and reactivation of well number 4 was carried out in the Encontrados parish of the Catatumbo municipality, which will allow another 1,500 families to be incorporated into the service.

The maneuvers are part of the comprehensive community care plan promoted by MINAGUAS to consolidate access to vital liquid and strengthen the water system in the Zulia region, according to the ministerial portfolio.
