Caracas is preparing a temporary camp in San Bernardino parish that will receive families affected by the earthquakes of June 24, Mayor Carmen Meléndez said.

The president explained that the directive of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, was to safeguard the population in this national emergency, while the space, with a capacity of more than 300 seats, is about to open.

The space will have a medical center, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms and entertainment areas, as well as equipment for the assistance of the sheltered.
