The Bolivarian Government, through the General Directorate of Crime Prevention (DPD) of the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP) and the Mayor's Office of Caracas, recovered the facilities of Paseo Anauco, which are located between the parishes of La Candelaria and San Bernardino in Caracas.

This was announced by the coordinator of the DPD of Caracas, Alfredo Sanoja, who explained that a whole process of cleaning, pruning trees and lighting was developed.

He also highlighted the work carried out by the Community Police Service through the program “The Police Go to School”, which serves children and adolescents with training, recreational and sports activities, MPPRIJP press reports.

Sanoja also highlighted that the General Directorate for Crime Prevention has an administrative and sports office on Paseo Anauco to strengthen the participation of the point and circle, which offer dance therapy, taekwondo, boxing, dominoes, chess and cycling.

“Permanent meetings have also been generated with the point and circle of communities to build a joint plan that will allow us to recover, beyond the issue of infrastructure, to build a culture of peace,” he added.

For his part, the director of the National and International Cooperation and Integration line, Víctor Perdomo, indicated that the General Directorate of Crime Prevention uses sports mass to counteract negative elements, with plans and programs to encourage young people to play sports such as boxing and taekwondo.

In addition, Perdomo called on all families to become more and more involved in the development of their children. “Let's evaluate tastes, let's try to understand that each boy and girl goes through different processes,” he said.
