Bolivarian Government recovers spaces in the Maracay Central Terminal

The Bolivarian Government, through the mayor's office of the Girardot municipality of the state of Aragua, is carrying out work for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the spaces of the Maracay Central Terminal, for the benefit of the carriers, users and merchants who live in these facilities.

In the works currently carried out, through the Municipal Institute of Public Transport of Girardot (IMTRAGIR), there is the renovation of the square in the Santa Ana sector. So far, the installation of street furniture, ornamental and landscape design, brocade painting, construction of an access ramp for people with disabilities, and public lighting have been completed.

For the final stage of these tasks, it is planned to carry out the asphalting and construction of a stop for motorcyclists, according to a press release from the municipality.

In addition, these tasks are in addition to the work carried out recently with the remodeling of the walkway on Constitution Avenue and Paseo 4F; tasks that are accompanied by washing days that take place at night and on weekends on the platforms of the Eastern, Central and Western terminals.

The president of IMTRAGIR, Eilyn Suarez, stressed that this initiative seeks not only to improve the aesthetics of the terminal, but also to guarantee a more orderly and pleasant environment for those who use its facilities, thanks to the collaboration of different local institutions committed to maintaining public spaces.
