Bolivarian Government rehabilitated emergency areas of the Hospital de Los Magallanes de Catia

The pediatric and adult emergency areas of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández hospital, better known as Los Magallanes de Catia, were rehabilitated and equipped with the latest technology.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, this hospital houses 290 residents and has a team of 133 doctors, as well as nurses, waitresses, administrators and workers, who guarantee free and quality care 24 hours a day.
Every month, this health center serves more than 10 thousand inhabitants of the community, including more than 3 thousand children in the pediatric area and about 5 thousand adults.
In addition to its emergency service, the Western General Hospital is equipped with gastroenterology, operating room, neonatology, intensive care units for adults and children, as well as a rest room for medical staff.
